Free personalised adaptive UCAT practice

Your next UCAT question, chosen for a reason.

Zhou Education turns recent accuracy, pacing, mistakes and skill coverage into a focused practice path across VR, DM, QR and SJT. See why each question was selected, repair weaker skills, and keep fixed mocks separate for realistic timed rehearsal. A configured daily question allowance is free; the meter is shown honestly before further worked teaching is gated.

How adaptive practice works

A transparent learning sequence.

  1. 01

    Answer a balanced starting set

New students begin across skills and difficulty levels rather than inside one preferred type.

  2. 02

    See what needs attention

Correctness drives mastery; timing is reported separately so a slow correct answer stays correct.

  3. 03

    Receive the next useful question

Open “Why this question?” to see the reason in plain language.

  4. 04

Review mistakes at the right time

Earlier errors return after space for learning, particularly in mistake-repair mode.

Frequently asked questions

Clear limits before you begin.

Is the real UCAT adaptive?

No claim is made that the live UCAT examination is computer-adaptive. This Zhou Education learning mode adapts which practice question it recommends next. Fixed mini mocks, full sections and the complete mock remain fixed for standard-format rehearsal.

How does Zhou Education choose my next question?

The browser considers recent accuracy, partial credit, pacing, mistakes due for review, question difficulty, exposure and skill coverage. Every selection includes a plain-language reason.

What makes this practice personalised?

Question selection uses progress saved in this browser: recent accuracy, partial credit, pacing, mistakes due for review, question exposure and skill coverage. With no history, the session begins with balanced sampling. Open “Why this question?” for the reason behind each selection.

Will every student receive different questions?

Not necessarily. Students practise from the same original question bank, but different practice histories, selected focuses and review schedules can produce different sequences.

Can a slow correct answer be marked wrong?

No. Correctness is the main learning signal. Timing is reported separately as a pacing signal, so a slow correct response remains correct.

Does this predict my official UCAT score?

No. Mastery bands are cautious Zhou Education practice measures. They are not official scaled scores, percentiles, admission probabilities or raw-to-scaled conversions.

Is the adaptive question bank free?

A configured daily allowance of adaptive questions remains free. After that allowance, answers and local progress remain saved while worked explanations follow the account allowance and any existing access. The diagnostic remains free to sit, with the full report delivered by email.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to begin. Browser-local progress contains no student name or email and can be deleted from the progress page. An account is offered when the daily explanation allowance is reached.

Is Zhou Education affiliated with UCAT ANZ or Pearson VUE?

No. Zhou Education is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UCAT ANZ Consortium or Pearson VUE.

Should I still use official UCAT practice materials?

Yes. Use official UCAT tutorials and representative practice as your primary format reference, particularly nearer test day. This independent bank is an additional learning resource.
